It Works and is a great product for ethnic, thick hair, soft or coarse
I've purchased this product from Sally's beauty supply and I used it on my scalp when I got my hair braided. It does have a little strange odor but you can easily spray a light all natural oil sheen on top of it and its gone. I just put it directly on my scalp and massaged it. I did it a few times a week and after I removed my braids, my hair was soft, strong, and it grew a lot. Its a good addition to any hair growth regimen that you currently have in place. My regimen to help my hair grow and become stronger, consist of this, carrot oil in the jar by organic root stimulator, and a spray by triple gro and hair vitamins by super hair energizer. Amazing results, but smells funny
Of all the hair products I've ever tried, this is the only one that gave solid results. My hair was soft, manageable and stopped breaking completely. It grew so fast my friends started asking me what I using and I was amazed as well. ONLY problem: this stuff smells funny. That's because it's free of articial perfumes and such, which was GREAT for my hair but cramped my social style. I stopped using Wild Growth due to the smell, but I'm going to try it again (I'm having a hair crisis!) and maybe use a sweet smelling natural oil or hair spray to mask the funny odor.

Great item, but don't buy this on Amazon.
This is a good product, within the first use I noticed my hair was softer and more manageable and I'm not completely 100% sure because I'm not the type of person to measure but after a few weeks I think I've noticed faster hair growth. With use of this everytime I felt that my scalp was becoming dry again, It solved my severe dandruff problem also. Great to put on hair before blow drying to not only protect from the heat but give you a frizz free smooth and shiny blow dry or straightener style with little to no breakage. I gave it 4 stars because SOME people may not like the smell, I found it quite to the contrary and I found it pleasant, has sort of a sweet smell to it, not amazingly good smelling but nothing to complain about at all. I'm not sure for people of nonafrican hair but I recommend it for African Americans of all ages (yes it's mostly, if not all. natural so it would even be good for use on babies and the toddlers) if you want faster growth, stronger ,softer and more...

Try it because it really does work!
A couple of years ago i got my hair cut really short because i had messed it up before and i HATED it! during this most recent summer, my hair was probably right at shoulder length, if not a little shorter. it's been growing but in the past few months ive been wanting my hair to grow extra FAST!! so for christmas i got the shampoo and conditioner. i've been using it for nearly a month now and it's grown a full inch. i was so excited! and the smell is great, when you wash w/ this shampoo&conditioner it gets SUPER soft and bouncy. my hair is almost down to my chest (my goal is the waist!) i recommend this product and i also recommend not using a hair dryer and to try not to use a straightener,(unless it's an emergency) because your hair gets a lot healthier the less you use heated products! :) but overall, great shampoo and conditioner, TRY IT!

This stuff is awesome!!!
In 2003, I donated my hair and hated it short. I found this product, bought it, and fell in love. In about 3 months, my hair grew a little over 3 inches! Incredible!!!I'm about to donate my hair again and am about to purchase it again. My hair won't be short for long. :-)I would definitely recommend this stuff!

Nzuri Elixir works well, both in look AND feel
I am extremely pleased with Nzuri. "Dry, brittle, lifeless" hair seemed to be the story of my life. I would move from that to OILY when I'd try a different product. Well, it might not have been oily but it looked that way. I have difficult hair (two-tone, slightly longer than shoulder length). Nzuri's 61 ingredients even tasted very good!
The first month I noticed a big difference on my face because I applied Nzuri topically at night and in the morning (just like the directions suggested). Altough I did not see any major improvement in hair growth, I had enough confidence to keep on it. By the third month I had very admirable improvmenet in hair growth too. Nzuri grew my 2 daughters' hair
Hi I am an African American lady who took my two daughters natural. We did the big chop and cut all of the relaxer out of their hair early last year. AWSOME PRODUCT!!!
This stuff is a miracle. Really. i bought this thinking it would clog my pores and i'd have more hair loss. I'm hispanic but after the very first night i left in my hair I was really surprised. Yes it does leave your hair a little oily, but soft. Usually when i wash my hair i get a huge ball of hair,then when brushing i get even more. After 1st night leaving in my hair i washed my hair and I didn't get a ball of hair. I was so happy! I'm also using groganics which has My hair so much thicker and my scalp feels sooo clean. Great product
Ok, I never write reviews but this product has moved me to words or typing at least. I was randomly searching hair products and came across this and picked up a bottle at target. I am a caucasian female in my mid 20s and my hair has gotten progressively thinner and does not grow very long (when it does grow long it is so thin that it is not very pretty). I cannot give a review on this products ability to make hair grow but I did use it last night as a hot oil (I used a lot) and left it on my hair overnight and washed it out this morning. My hair was infused with volume and looked like I put a root pump or something on it when I used no products at all. I have heard that conditioning hair should revitalize it but have never experienced this until now. The only complaint is that the oil got all over my pillow but that is my fault and can be remedied with a sleeping cap. It smells great and my hair looks wonderful. This works as a cure for Psoriais

FOR REAL!
I think all to often when people have success with a product they fail to give it a good review and we only hear about something when we are not happy with it. I am not one to chase one hair supplement after another but I have struggled with excessive hair shedding for many years. My hair seems to respond to any changes in my system and then sheds!I started taking these vitamins in July and they are the real deal! I have seen a SIGNIFICANT difference in my hair and my hairdresser commented on it as well. I never told her I was taking any supplements, she just said my hair had really thickened up. Its much thicker and shinier and has been quite stable over the past 6 months as well!!! Try it!

With Time and Patience Come Great Results
I have experienced a great deal of hair loss due to thryroid issues. Regulating that little rascal is not an easy! As a result for awhile I was losing tons of hair and each strand was becoming finer and more elastic like a rubber band. When I say tons, I mean my hand was covered with hair when I washed it. My husband called the amount of hair I lost in the shower a "rat" cuz the clump was so big every time I washed my hair. Needless to say, my hair was a mess.
